PCB Clone and Assembly Coordinate Table Output

Release Date:Sep 08, 2026

PCB clone assembly coordinate table output is a key data link connecting PCB reverse engineering and SMT automatic assembly production. The assembly coordinate table, also known as the placement coordinate file, records the precise X/Y axis coordinates, rotation angle, component model, packaging specifications and board surface distribution information of all SMD components on the PCB. It is the core positioning data for automatic placement machines to realize intelligent component placement, and is an indispensable technical document for automated mass production of cloned PCBs. High-precision assembly coordinate table can effectively improve the placement efficiency and placement accuracy of SMT production, reduce manual positioning errors, and realize fully automated batch assembly of cloned circuit boards.

The generation of the assembly coordinate table is based on the accurate positioning data of PCB reverse layout. After completing the full-board reverse scanning and layout restoration of the original PCB, technicians extract the absolute coordinate parameters of each SMD component based on the PCB board origin coordinate system. The board origin is uniformly calibrated according to industrial standard specifications, and the X-axis and Y-axis directions are defined to ensure the unity and standardization of coordinate data. All surface-mount components including passive components, active chips, sensors, and SMD connectors are included in the coordinate statistics range, and plug-in components that do not participate in automatic placement are marked and distinguished independently to ensure complete and accurate data statistics.

In the data sorting and calibration stage, the coordinate information of each component is accurately verified and corrected one by one. The core data fields of the coordinate table include component bit number, component model, package type, X coordinate, Y coordinate, rotation angle, placement surface (top/bottom layer), and component remarks. The rotation angle of each component is strictly calibrated according to the welding direction of the original board to ensure that the placement angle is consistent with the original design, avoiding component polarity reversal and functional failure caused by angle errors. For components with special placement directions and offset positions, independent calibration and marking are carried out to retain the unique assembly characteristics of the original board.

The final stage is format sorting, error detection and multi-format output. The sorted coordinate data is eliminated for duplicate data, coordinate offset and parameter errors, and the data integrity and accuracy are comprehensively detected. According to the different equipment formats of mainstream SMT placement machine brands such as Yamaha, Samsung, Juki, and Fuji, diversified format conversion is carried out, and common output formats include TXT, CSV, and Excel. The complete assembly coordinate table can be directly imported into the SMT production system to realize one-click positioning and automatic placement of components, which greatly simplifies the production process, shortens the production cycle, and ensures that the assembly position, direction and distribution density of components on the cloned PCB are completely consistent with the original sample, providing efficient and accurate data support for automated mass production.
