Sample PCB clone, also known as prototype PCB reverse cloning, is a precise circuit board replication service for single or small-quantity sample circuit boards, which is the core foundation and preliminary link of mass PCB cloning and electronic product reverse development. In the electronic industry R&D and production process, most enterprises only have a single original sample board without any design documents, schematic diagrams, BOM parameters and production data. The biggest feature of sample PCB clone is high precision and zero deviation, because the sample board is the only standard for product replication, and any tiny error will lead to the failure of subsequent mass production and product functional debugging. Our sample cloning process adopts a full-link refined operation mode, abandoning the rough scanning and simple copying mode of traditional cloning. First of all, our technical engineers will conduct comprehensive physical parameter detection on the sample board, including board thickness, substrate material, copper foil thickness, solder mask color and thickness, hole diameter, pad size, line width and line spacing, and record all original data in detail. Then, high-precision industrial microscopic scanning and 3D imaging technology are used to collect all wiring tracks, component distribution positions, via hole distribution and circuit connection relations of the sample board without dead angle, and establish a complete digital model of the PCB.
In the data restoration stage of sample PCB clone, we strictly distinguish different circuit layers, accurately sort out the positive and negative circuit logic of the board, restore the complete schematic diagram and PCB layout file that are 100% consistent with the original sample board, and check and verify component parameters one by one to form an accurate BOM list. For special processes and special structures on the sample board, such as partial impedance lines, hollowed-out heat dissipation areas, special via hole processes, and customized pad structures, we will carry out targeted technical analysis and process restoration to ensure that no detailed design of the original sample board is missing. After the completion of data restoration, we will carry out sample trial production immediately, and adopt the same production process and material standards as the original sample board to produce cloned prototype boards.
After the production of cloned samples is completed, we will carry out strict comparative testing and functional verification. Including appearance contrast detection, size parameter measurement, circuit continuity detection, electrical performance test and actual functional debugging, to ensure that the appearance size, structural parameters, electrical performance and functional effect of the cloned sample board are completely consistent with the original sample board. For the sample boards with special functional requirements such as high frequency, high speed and anti-interference, we will also conduct professional environmental simulation tests such as high and low temperature resistance, vibration resistance and electromagnetic compatibility to verify the stability and reliability of the cloned samples.
