Scrap or damaged PCBs are common in electronic equipment maintenance, product iteration and sample testing processes. Many waste circuit boards still have complete and available circuit design data despite damaged surfaces, burnt components, scratched traces or partial structural damage. However, ordinary copying services cannot effectively extract valid data from defective boards, resulting in the loss of valuable design resources and increased customer R&D and replacement costs. We have mature damaged PCB data recovery technology and non-destructive extraction processes for different types of scrap board damage, including component burnout, surface copper foil peeling, trace breakage, board layer oxidation, partial circuit burning and mechanical damage. Our technical team will first conduct a comprehensive damage assessment on the scrap PCB to distinguish invalid damaged areas and effective circuit areas, and formulate a targeted data extraction scheme. For slightly damaged boards, we use high-definition microscopic scanning and circuit deduction technology to restore incomplete traces and damaged pads; for severely oxidized and partially burned boards, we combine multi-layer layer-by-layer peeling detection and circuit logic deduction to sort out complete circuit connection relationships and netlist data.

Different from conventional PCB copying, scrap PCB data extraction focuses on logical restoration rather than simple surface replication. For missing and damaged circuit parts on the original scrap board, our engineers rely on rich circuit design experience and professional electronic logic analysis capabilities, combined with the component distribution characteristics and circuit working principle of the original board, to accurately deduce and repair missing circuit data. After completing data extraction and circuit restoration, we conduct multi-round circuit conduction verification and functional simulation tests to ensure that the restored circuit logic is completely consistent with the original design and can meet normal equipment operation requirements.
